Veniamin Kondratyev: The delegation of the Krasnodar Territory takes part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

«Today, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum began its work. The delegation of the Krasnodar Territory is most actively involved in it. For the region, it is an opportunity to showcase its potential, strengthen relations with strategic partners, and work out new cooperation schemes. Signing contracts with the Krasnodar Territory’s partners is scheduled for tomorrow. But today, the region has concluded the first agreements worth 75 billion rubles. I wish you fruitful work at the forum and invite everyone to get acquainted with the Krasnodar Territory in our investment restaurant,» wrote Veniamin Kondratyev.

The main business event of the country is held from 14 to 17 June in the convention and exhibition center Expoforum in St. Petersburg. The delegation of the Krasnodar Territory is headed by Governor Veniamin Kondratyev. It also includes First Vice-Governor Igor Galas, Deputy Heads Alexander Ruppel, Andrei Korobka and heads of government bodies.

The key theme of the participation of the Krasnodar Territory is the development of export opportunities in the region. The presentation materials are focused on three areas — tourism, export of industrial goods and agricultural products.

The exposition area of the region will be 1,235 square meters. The most significant investment projects will be presented, an extensive business program is being planned. The stand area will be divided into 4 functional zones. The biggest one is an investment restaurant with 100 seats in the main hall. At the entrance, Kuban products will be displayed. The second zone is reserved for meeting rooms for business events. The third is a conference hall for 100 people. The fourth is the presentation and business space. A separate part of the exhibition will be devoted to a presentation of the Made in Kuban brand, developed to improve the quality and promote the Krasnodar Territory products.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is a leading international platform for communication between representatives of government, business entities, public organizations and discussion of key economic issues. The SPIEF has been held since 1997, and since 2006 the event has been organized under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation.
