The purpose of creating an artificial water feature, a borrow pit pond, is to preserve it. This pond is fed by springs that were revealed during the

Legion fishing base

The coastal areas along rivers provide ideal microclimates for short-term recreation. Most visitors are fishermen, and recreational areas are located along riverbanks that are easily accessible by motor vehicles.
Fishing is a traditional activity in this region. People enjoy amateur fishing in rivers such as Beysug river, Zhuravka, Gadzhirovka, and various streams, as well as in man-made lakes located in recreational areas.
One of these bases is located in the Novo-Berezansk state regional nature zoological reserve near Berezanskaya station along the Gadzhirovka river.
There are designated areas for fishing and recreation within the recreation center.
