The governor set this task at a meeting attended by his deputies, heads of relevant ministries and departments, and local authority leaders.
«Investment activity is particularly important today, as it determines our ability to meet budget targets and implement planned social programmes. We must support the economy and ensure growth, even in these challenging conditions. The investor support system established in the region has already proven its effectiveness. In 2024 and 2025, investment exceeded 1 trillion roubles, doubling compared with 2020. However, given the fierce competition between regions to attract investors, it is important not only to maintain existing support measures, such as exemptions, subsidies, and preferences, but also to strengthen business confidence. By the end of 2025, we ranked fourth in the country in terms of investment attractiveness. This is a good result, and we need to build on it. By 2030, we plan to reach 2 trillion roubles in investment. This is a strategic objective on which both the economy and the further development of the Krasnodar Region depend,» said Veniamin Kondratyev.
Deputy Governor Alexander Ruppel said that in recent years the region has worked intensively to create a wide range of incentives for business. This has paid off: the Krasnodar Region leads the Southern Federal District in attracting fixed asset investments.
«In the first quarter of 2026, the positive trend has continued: 170 billion roubles of investment has been attracted into the economy. With a growth rate of 8.5%, we are outperforming the national average and are ahead of our traditional competitors: Saint Petersburg, Tatarstan, and the Moscow Region. This shows that, despite internal and external constraints, businesses continue to invest in the economy of the Krasnodar Region,» said Alexander Ruppel.
