The first charging stations for electric vehicles to appear at parking lots in Krasnodar by the end of july

The Head of the region Veniamin Kondratyev told the journalists fr om RBC information agency about this.

As explained Veniamin Kondratyev, the first charging stations at the parking lots of the regional capital should appear as early as next week.

 Wh ere there are no technical capability of connecting to the electric network, we will install stations operating exclusively on solar energy. A specimen is already prepared and, by the way, has been developed by our Kuban manufacturer  told the head of the region.  

According to him, the prototypes of «quick» charging stations will be manufactured at the plants of concern «Rostechnologies» in Krasnodar and Nizhny Novgorod.

Furthermore, a set of measures to promote the electric kinds of transportation is being developed in Kuban now. It refers to the provision of free parking spaces downtown, traffic across the public transport lanes and abolition of a transport tax, added the Governor.
