Belarus will host the Innoprom industrial trade fair for the first time.
«At the end of September, Minsk will host the first Innoprom Belarus trade fair. The Krasnodar region will show its high-tech products from 10 companies in the metallurgy, machine tools, radio electronics, food processing equipment, composites, and auto parts sectors of the economy. We will also present achievements in robotics, including the first prototype of the MARK multi-purpose autonomous cleaning robot developed by a company in Armavir. This robot is made up of more than 90 percent domestic parts and components,» said Vice-Governor Alexander Ruppel.
He mentioned that about 20 Kuban industrial companies already export their products to Belarus and that the region works closely with Minsk Tractor Plant, Gomselmash, and other Belarusian businesses.
«Several joint ventures have been started in the region. Two years ago, a facility for assembling combines and making parts for agricultural machinery opened in Ust-Labinsk. We are also building a multi-brand ‘BELARUS’ trade and service center in Krasnodar. This year, we signed a special investment contract with Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade to produce three models of Belarus tractors in Starominskaya. At Innoprom in Minsk, we plan to discuss further cooperation in industrial technology,» added Ruppel.
Since 2010, Innoprom has grown from a local event in Yekaterinburg to an international industrial forum. It is now held every year in Uzbekistan as well and attracts key industry players. The 2023 exhibition was in Kazakhstan. This year it will take place in Belarus, and Saudi Arabia is expected to host it in the future.
Krasnodar region has joined Innoprom in Yekaterinburg since 2019 with a stand organized by the regional Ministry of Industry and the Industry Development Fund. It also started participating in Uzbekistan’s edition in 2021. So far, Kuban exhibitors have signed over 260 contracts worth more than 12 billion rubles.
