Krasnodar Region to continue industrial support for technological independence

Governor Veniamin Kondratyev visited the ESKM L.L.C. corporation facilities in Krasnodar, touring the Elektrosevkavmontazhindustriya, Progress, and STMU ESKM plants. These facilities produce components for nuclear and thermal power projects in Russia and are exported to India, Iran, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Turkey.

«These companies are a source of pride for Krasnodar Region, showcasing our industrial strength," Kondratyev stated. «Using state-of-the-art technologies, you manufacture products sought worldwide and hold a solid foothold in the nuclear energy market. Supporting such companies is essential for reinforcing the country’s technological independence, as our President said. We will continue our industrial support, especially for import-substitution projects.»

Kondratyev inspected the mechanical processing, sorting, and pipeline valve workshops and spoke with employees.

Evgeniy Subbota, General Director of ESKM, explained that the corporation has operated since 2003, continuing the work of an electrical installation enterprise. In 2012, a hot-dip galvanizing workshop with a 5,000-ton annual capacity was launched. By 2016, production began for components supplied to thermal power plants in 23 Russian regions and for export.

«Since 2018, we've received over 40 million rubles in regional subsidies and about 240 million rubles in concessional loans from the regional Industry Development Fund,» Subbota said. «This support allowed us to improve logistics, expand our product range, and significantly localize production, achieving import substitution.»

The corporation is involved in constructing nearly all major nuclear energy facilities in Russia. It's a diversified company headquartered in Krasnodar, with over 10 offices across Russia and abroad. Its structure includes construction, installation, and commissioning departments, the Elektrosevkavmontazhindustriya, Progress, and STMU ESKM plants, and a training center. These units handle necessary work using their own resources and equipment, and also train specialists.
